Ice Princess.

Hey guys! Sorry I've been away all week! It's been tres eventful!  I wanted to share these pictures from Chanel S-08 Couture show with you because they're pretty inspiring and they remind us why Lagerfeld is so genius.  The models in this show kind of remind me of Mugatu haha with their hair and crazy poses. So with that...enjoy them. I think that they tie in nicely with last weeks Annie post because of the structure of the skirts...and wow I'm in awe of structured sequins! I want to wear the short grey one SOOO badly! and that jacket almost kicks Balmain's butt...almost...tied? ha :)

What Would Annie Wear...

Bonjour! I hope everyone had a fabulous holiday! Over the holiday I re-discovered my love for Woody Allen movies. One of my favorite Woody Allen flicks is Annie Hall. This movie is great for lots of reasons…one of my favorite being the charm that is found in the character’s outfits! Diane Keaton’s ensembles have a masculine touch to them that is so feminine and pleasant at the same time. I’m kind of really into that look right now :o) After visiting the YSL exhibit, I really noticed how chic an outfit really looks after adding some structural elements that are normally found in men’s apparel. I hate how suits look on me, but I continue to have this ongoing love affair with them. I like to pair a black blazer with satin lapels and an old tuxedo top with some black skinnys to get my favorite look. I think Diane Keaton looks perfect with her vest and ties in Annie Hall. It gives off a unique vibe that is similar to the powerful energy a YSL suit possesses, as well as the fierce beauty found in pieces by Ricardo Tisci for Givenchy. I’ve picked out some looks that may inspire you to channel your inner Annie. Enjoy!:)
